Welcome
I would like to welcome everyone to my website. Though I don't have the most interesting life in the world, I hope that you find some part of this website of interest to you.
Let me begin by saying that I was born and raised in Madison, WI and I am still here!!! My father was from Costa Rica; he passed away when I was five. I enjoy visiting his side of the family whenever I can. I like to think of it as my home away from home.
I went to East High School and graduated in 1999. Upon graduation, I went on to the University of Wisconsin-Madison where I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Human Development and Family studies in December of 2003. I have been attending MATC ever since. This is my last semester at MATC; I will be returning to UW-Madison to pursue a degree in Elementary Education.
School is only one portion of my life - the major component of my life is my daughter, Calysta (pronounced Ka-lee-sta). She is 4 1/2 years old and she is my life, my joy and my heart. She motivates me to work hard and aim high. I don't know what I would do without her. I know all of you out there with children know what I am talking about.
Within my website you will discover a little about me; if you can't already tell, I LOVE Christmas and the holiday season in general. Though I am not crazy about the cold weather and the snow, I still enjoy all there is to do throughout this holiday.
