I have served as Executive Assistant to the City Manager and
City Council for the City of
Mountain Brook since November 2000. With 30+ years work
experience in the business world, the past 24 years have been
served in the Birmingham, Alabama, area in executive assistant
level positions.
As an active member of the
Birmingham Chapter of the
International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP)
since 1995, I am currently as Immediate Past President of our
100-member
chapter.
I have been an online student with
Madison Area Technical
College since January 2003, I anticipate graduating in
December 2005 with an Administrative Assistant Associates
Degree.
I am a single mother of three grown children and am currently
an empty-nester. In my spare time, I thoroughly enjoy creative
machine embroidery,quilting, and fashion construction as well as
all kinds
of ballroom dancing, cooking, and occasionally home improvement
projects.
