Karen Wendt

Karen shares folktales, fables, and some original stories and frequently invites children from the audience to help tell the stories.

Combining words, now and then embroidered with puppets and occasionally embellished with paint, Karen weaves stories for listeners of all ages.

Along with Geri Ceci Cupery, Karen offers a "Much Ado About Stories" workshop for librarians, daycares, and teachers.

Children attending Karen's "Painted Faces" program will delight in the detailed cheek art designs. Using non-toxic, water-based paints, Karen can do about 30-45 unique designs in an hour.
